I have wondered why so many of the men I've dated have been the "same man with a new head." This book explains exactly why, and more. Allows the reader to not only understand the man and where he might be coming from, but also where I may have been coming from all of these years. I'm now working to correct my issues so as to attract the right man, and notice my Ambivalent Man long before he makes it into my circle of trust. -- Wow, what great information!
I have read many books in my time but this is by far the BEST book I have ever read! The words are clear and easy to follow along. Every ambivalent guy type is exposed in this book! I didn't quite get the cover art but that's no biggie. No matter what race or age (over 18) you are, I think you will get something out of this book. I used to wonder why some guys acted they way they did and this book totally explains it! I recommend EVERY SINGLE WOMAN on the planet purchase this book! You won't be disappointed. -- Every single woman must have this book!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book but was glad the author was honest about the dangers of generalities. I've found many men can be somewhat ambivalent at first but later become steady and reliable. But this book is focused on the type of man who is likely to remain ambivalent.
Rhonda Findling clearly knows the topic of love and relationships well and breaks down the various types of ambivalent men into convenient categories, from the Casual Dater to The Eternal Bachelor) and then explains what childhood or other experiences could have left them so mistrustful or uncertain.
She then explains how women can deal with these guys and even how to possibly marry an ambivalent guy (although it isn't likely to be easy and she does encourage women to explore the reasons they are drawn to these men, a good point).
A major BONUS in this book? As noted, providing insight about why the reader may be drawn to ambivalent guys (yes, reader, know thyself). Finally, for those who want to network with like-minded souls, Rhonda Findling provides a link to her website and message board, as well as info about consultations with her.

This book did more for me than any therapist ever did when it came to figuring out the men I chose and why I chose them. Not only does it go into accurate detail about different types of ambivalent men, but it gives very practical step by step instructions regarding what to do when you have fallen for them. The book also talks about the woman and why we choose ambivalent men and what to do about it. It's very interesting, honest, and worthy of reading! -- Excellent Book!
