User Reviews about Linda Goodman's Relationship Signs
I have been reading/re-reading astrology books for 3 decades... just about everything that is out there. Linda Goodman's books are BY FAR the best and most accurate around. I am only saddened that she is no longer with us -- she would have enjoyed this new century and we would have benefited from her further writings. -- Astrology's best
What interested me most about Linda's book was her ascendant table. At first, I thought it was wrong because it said I was a Libra and not a Scorpio rising. I looked it up, along with the decanate orb that was given. It described me perfectly! So someone above me said something like the ascendant chart was wrong, but for me, it worked perfectly. I also really like the style of the writing. It's simplistic, but it will never be like the other books. It happens to be one of my favorite books by her that go deeper into depth, not just the shallow superficiality of sun sign compatibility. -- Not bad
This book predates some of the more detailed relationship books that are on the market. I enjoyed it, and I found it to be accurate in many ways. It is not about houses and signs. If you want that, you need another book. This book is only aspects, and she lets you decide the orb. She should have included more of an introduction to astrology in this book because many of her readers did not understand orbs, and that no emphemeris is accurate unless you do the math to calculate your exact chart.
The readings are a little too ideologist to be realistic, but she was a wonderful astrologer. I don't see why anyone would dispute synsasty done this way. Planets contacting planets is often all you need to determine whether or not a relationship is likely. When astrologer's talk about signs and houses a lot of their descriptions are just really inaccurate. It is worth looking at. It seems consistent with her other books to me. -- The permises for other relationship books
It was a pleasing and interesting read. Though somewhat basic in the approach, I hink it is a very good overview of important factors in relationships. I appreciated greatly the fact that swollen language and vague or far-fetched theories are absent in this book. Thus just the kind of book anyone interested in synastry should have read - at least. -- Simplified but interesting
